Sightseeing Notes: Moonrise Beach

Moonrise Beach is a sleepy little seaside community that welcomes all new Archons to Monato Esprit. It seems like every newcomer first arrives at Weber's front yard. Weber took charge of my education, and told me all sorts of useful things. You can tell that he's a good teacher because somehow he trained his dog not to eat his pet ducks. A few of the local residents are experts on various subjects and help Weber teach some of his lessons.

While Moonrise Beach is much safer than most other areas of Monato Esprit, it is still swarming with monsters. It used to be a popular area for farming leeks and mushrooms, but most of the crops turned into monsters and ran off. The wandering plants are quite a strange site for newcomers. One of the stubborn old farmers, Django, still refuses to abandon his farm. I don't think he can bear leaving the country for some crowded city. After a few hours spent listening to the crashing waves off the coast, I guess I can sympathize.

An Archon named Rhea does her part to keep the nightmares under control. She's converted an old dungeon into a holding pen for all sorts of monsters. The dungeon is always in danger of overflowing, but I think Rhea keeps it that way on purpose. It's a good place for young Archons like me to get some experience hunting small monsters.

Moonrise Beach is cut off from the rest of Monato Esprit by mountains and water. The only way to get from the Beach to the mainland of Monato Esprit is to use an Escape Scroll. Luckily, Weber is happy to give them to his students once they complete their lessons.
