GAMEPLAY: Items

Items you collect during your adventures are stored in your Inventory. To open your Inventory, select the Inventory icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. Your inventory is divided into two sections. The top section shows all the items you currently have equipped. To equip an item, right-click on the item or drag it onto an equipment slot. Your character model will change to reflect what weapons and armor you have equipped. Be sure to watch the Endurance rating of weapons and armor you have equipped. The more you use them in combat, the more damage they will sustain, and will eventually need to be repaired by a Blacksmith. Some items have certain requirements before they can be equipped at all. If your character doesn't meet the requirements, you won't be able to equip the item.

The bottom section of your inventory shows everything else that you're carrying. Each item takes up a slot in your inventory, though some items will stack together in the same slot. You can click on the right side of your inventory to open an additional bag. If you run out of space, you can store extra items in your Bank account and retrieve them at any city in Monato Esprit™.

Getting the best equipment can be difficult all on your own. Often it's best to trade with other players for the items you need. To trade with another player, left-click on their character to target them, then right-click on their stat window in the upper left corner of the screen and select "Trade." This will open a trade window. You and your trading partner can each put items and MetaTIX™ on your own side of the trade window. The trade will only take place once you're both happy with the terms. If you're looking for a particular item or have something to sell, you should let people know in the Trade chat channel or visit the Consignment Store.
