Kafka is proof that you can't judge anything by appearances. It looks like an Archon, but it's really a nightmare, and not a very bright nightmare at that. I think that it was supposed to try to sneak inside Isildra by dressing like an Archon. Instead, it must have gotten sidetracked by a group of Beetles and decided to dress like them instead! I can't think of any other reason why a nightmare would try to disguise itself as another kind of nightmare.

On the reverse side, I've heard stories of fish creatures that wear masks, as if they're trying to pose as people. I don't think they've fooled anyone either.
