Bestiary: Archon

What is an Archon? In my experience, most Archons are pleasant, friendly, and helpful people. Some of us can be lazy and slow and grumpy, but nobody's perfect. Even the crankiest Archon has a tender heart buried deep inside.

Archons are native to Monato Esprit, but we dream our way here. That means that we're all something else in a different world. I don't let that bother me too much. While I'm here, I'm an Archon, and that's good enough for me.

Archons are a magical people. We all know how to use magic to make us stronger and more helpful. Part of our magic allows us to have wings, but we don't grow them naturally; we have to find them ourselves. Sometimes I envy birds because they have wings right from the moment they're born. Other times, I wonder how they can live with only one pair. I've collected three different pairs of wings so far, and I swap them out depending on my mood.

Archons are smart, resourceful, and brave. We won't give up our dreamworld for anyone or anything. We build great cities, cook delicious food, and make stylish clothes. I like Archons. I'm glad I get to be one.
